Graco Snugride Click Connect 40 Review

Since I was fortunate enough to be invited to this Graco blogger event, I got this niftly little carseat to review. I will go ahead and admit it... getting swag is my number one perk for having this blog. The end. You can read about the Graco party here, but pictured below is the highlight of that party.

You will have to read the actual post to find out what I am doing. Looks fun, right?

It was at this party that I learned that this car seat is the only one on the market to allow the entire seat to shift backwards in order to give the child extra leg room, and the only rear-facing one out there to have a 40 pound weight limit. Keeping your child rear-facing makes them 5 times safer than they would be in a forward-facing seat. So this is a pretty fantastic piece of baby gear, in my opinion.

The car seat is called the Graco Snugride Click Connect 40. I loved how snug it really is, and how it cradles Rose perfectly.

See that?? Snug.

And look how pretty that pattern is.

Not only is it pretty, I love how you can change the position of the seat to allow for extra leg room. It has 8 different positions, yo.

And now, some business.
"The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Graco.
The opinions and text are all mine."
Except for the text in quotes above, that is. I hope I will never write something as straight-forward and coherent as that...people would think I am sane or something. And that would be weird.

Check out that cool little kick plate so she doesn't dirty my seats.

I should ask Graco to make a giant kick plate that fits over my entire car interior like saran wrap. I bet when everyone is old enough to be out of their car seats, the car is going to be filthy except for that little patch where the kick plate protected the seat. Ha!

  1. LOVE THIS!! I love that companies are falling into the extended rear facing stuff. I feel like it was forever ago that people thought I was crazy for keeping Lucy rear facing until 14 months! This time might will be longer!

    1. Seriously...!! It really is so useful. And you can even take out the whole Click Connect 40 seat if the baby is asleep in it!
