Alert! Alert!

It is official... we are now a one-car family - GASP! For all you LA readers, I know you are deeply disappointed in me. But things are different here in Vegas. I think we can do it. At least for the next 8 months until our Chrysler is paid off and we can buy another car.

Phillip's car refuses to budge another inch, despite numerous carrots and sticks that were utilized to try and make it go a little longer. Perhaps we should try taking it to a mechanic instead. Now I have a fridge full of carrots and I don't even really like carrots that much. I could make a carrot-ginger soup. Ok, to be honest I hate carrot-ginger soup. But at least they would not be in my fridge for long. I am pretty sure carrot-ginger soup goes bad quicker than raw carrots.

So for the next 8 months we are going to share the one car. That means if I want to use it, I have to drop him off at work in the wee hours of the morning. Have I ever mentioned how little I enjoy early mornings? Even less so when I have 2 kids to get up and ready, when they are not ready to be ready or to go out.

This arrangement also means less frequent jaunts to places in Vegas that are worthy of a Muppet review. I know, I have not reviewed in ages. First the LA trip, and now this. I hope you won't all be too terribly disappointed. You will have to be content with reading posts that are purely inspired by the kids for a while.

Let me know in the comments section if you are going to stop reading if I don't review something soon. That way I can get on top of things again and know that my worth as a blogger is tied to the information I provide rather on my tremendous wit.

I am also wide open to you Las Vegas moms if you would like to review a place you have been recently. Share your opinions, warn us off bad places, or direct us to amazing places we have yet to experience. Email me at andrealeal00 at yahoo.com if you are interested!

  1. We were a one-car family for a while and it was manageable but not so good for my "issues". TOTALLY worth the difficulty to get in a better place financially. You'll just get super-adept at inviting people over all the time!
